Key Accounts Manager
Typical Accountabilities:
• Ensures account contracting process for all managed care sales are up-to-date including accuracy of all contract terms such as: Key Operational Terms; Rebate Rates and administrative fees, Market basket details, Formulary position information
• Organises, analyses and communicates information on managed care products to the Brand Team and Managed Markets sales force leadership and representatives, including account-specific programs, activities, and pull-through messages
• Maintains up to date knowledge on the latest trends and benchmarks in managed care to serve as an effective resource to Account Managers
• Compiles all necessary credentialing forms and mails to new Providers and monitors completion of provider submission of information
• Updates Account Managers on issues surrounding competitor products and makes recommendations for any resulting changes to the business area’s sales strategy
• Provides Account Managers with information surrounding managed care sales timelines, bid processes and bid requirements. Proactive in identifying issues and challenges with their respective account(s) and escalating them as necessary

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Bachelor’s degree; Demonstrated project management and team development ability; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and influence peers; Demonstrated communication and platform skills
• Desirable: Demonstrated ability to execute contracting, including assessing legal and best price implications; Prior experience in a commercial function
